Our core purpose is to bring people together and build better connections. It’s pretty simple really! We believe that human beings are wired to make connections and that camp is the perfect place to do that.
We are unfiltered.
During the summer, we encourage campers to live an unfiltered life. To be comfortable in their own skin, to be proud of who they are and to not try to be someone they are not. Either on or offline. We promote a positive, healthy, self-image.
We are a community.
Every day at IHC you will hear us say that we are ‘one camp, one community, one family’. We take care of each other, we keep each other safe, we love one another and treat each other with respect.
We use our voices.
We do not stand on the sidelines. We believe in doing the right thing, which is not always the easy thing. As we navigate this ever-changing world we use our voices to support movements that we believe in.
We are listening, we are always learning and we are always trying to improve ourselves.
We give back.
Camp is a gift. We are both privileged and grateful to be part of something so valuable and special. In our steadfast, ongoing, commitment to human development and childhood happiness, we continue to partner, and seek out new partnerships, with inspirational not for profit organizations who push the needle toward inclusion and access for all.

Moka Origins
In 2019 we partnered with Moka Origins, Moka craft amazing products as well as make a positive impact for farmers in Africa by ethically sourcing coffee and cacao, creating and planting a tree for every product sold. Moka Origins are out to generate real social change and we’re proud of the values we share.

Project Morry
Project Morry empowers young people from under-resourced communities to envision and establish a positive future. IHC has been a long term supporter of Project Morry for 30 years. Together we have raised millions of dollars and helped send thousands of children to experience camp.

S.C.O.P.E.
Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education.
SCOPE was established for one simple reason, to provide summer camp opportunities to ALL children, regardless of socio-economic background. Camp IHC works very closely with S.C.O.P.E to help give opportunities to thousands of young children.
