Teach Theatre at Summer Camp

Make your summer a spectacle!

Summer Camp Theatre Jobs

  • Overview

There is nothing better than show night at camp. Our theatre building is one of the most iconic buildings on camp, an original, oval-shaped wooden structure.

Everyone loves the theatre shows. It’s an incredible feeling to bring a group of campers together and within a few weeks have them performing on stage in front the entire camp community.

As a theatre teacher, you will help campers find their voices, you’ll teach them to sing, dance, project their voices, understand stage cues & how to elevate their performance.

You’ll help bring their character to life!

Each summer we produce shows that are cast based on the ages of the campers. You and the rest of the theatre team will design the sets, props, costumes, lights and sound.

  • Why Teach Theatre at Camp?

Theatre is just a summer classic, that is not quite Broadway but is the next best thing! Campers will feel like superstars when show night comes around. It’s crazy, hectic, frantic… everything you would expect it to be!

Our campers aren’t just on stage, they are also behind the scenes. Everyone who signs up has a role in the show. Campers help run the audio, the lighting, the costumes, they are the production assistants and runners, the technical crew, you name it.

At the end of the summer, you will feel like you’ve been in a 9 week version of your own show. You will be exhausted from the energy that all the campers bring. You will love every second of it.

During the run up to shows you will have blocks of rehearsal times for the same group of campers to practice.
