Housekeeping & Laundry at Summer Camp
The goal of the Housekeeping & Laundry team at Camp IHC is to maintain a healthy and safe environment for campers and staff.
Responsibilities include deep cleaning and sanitizing our bunks, bathrooms, common spaces and general tidiness and beautification of camp facilities. The laundry team will help clean and organize clothes for our staff and campers throughout the summer.
Housekeeping & Laundry will also work closely with our health center to keep our facility clean.

Housekeeping staff are part of our support staff team, you will eat breakfast a little earlier than the campers. During the day you will help maintain the summer camp facilities to make sure camp is looking incredible. You will help to launder camp linens after events and to help maintain cleanliness of the cabins. Although you start earlier, in the evening you will finish before camp counselors and activity specialists.

Yes! Our venue hosts many groups from early May to late September.
If you are interested in staying longer at camp then please speak to us about this when you apply.

No. You will live together, along with other support personnel, in staff housing.

Yes. On a regular schedule you will have one period off each day.
You will also have one full day and night off each week. This is your chance to rest, recover and try some new things on camp and explore new places off camp with other staff.
