Overview of the Role

Camp IHC has been a leading summer camp in Pennsylvania since 1940, and is currently seeking a versatile and driven Graphic Designer who can help elevate the branding and design of our company’s diverse portfolio of brands. The role will be very strategic, hands-on, and fast paced in the world of summer camp and retreats.

The candidate will work closely with the Head of the Media & Marketing team to consolidate the company’s branding efforts and identify areas for improvement and growth.

The position will also see the candidate working closely with the key members of the IHC full-time team and in this role be a key influence in the forward progression of the companies branding, design and philosophy.

Why Work at Summer Camp?

Camp IHC is one of the top summer camps in America and we continue to push our boundaries and drive our brands forward. We are not like a typical summer camp. We have an on-site summer creative team that functions like a small in-house marketing agency.

This is a fast moving, dynamic role that will see you working alongside a team of videographers, photographers, writers, graphic designers, podcasters, content creators and marketers. Your role and working on our passionate team will help you learn and develop your skills further. This role will create conditions for success that will help you secure future employment and design opportunities.

In this role you will work closely with our Head of Media & Marketing who has a wealth of experience. His leadership style allows for a great degree of autonomy and will allow you to create content with purpose. He will also work with you to find your purpose through your work and help take your marketing experience to the next level.

Lastly, the content you create can be used on your website, Dribble, Behance, Linked In or Social Media Channel.

Studio 18 Manifesto

Born in 2018, Studio 18 started as a name of a room, but it quickly became the official name of our in-house summer camp content production team. Over time the culture of the team became more refined and the Studio 18 Manifesto was born. Studio 18 wanted to change the very definition of what summer camp media content could and should be. When team members come onboard they are bought into the Studio 18 purpose, mission and vision from the get go. We are truly obsessive about pushing the boundaries of summer camp media. This helps set us apart from any other business in our industry. We do not aim to compete, we are simply on an infinite pursuit to create better content than the summer before, and it’s 100% born from nothing but passion and our pathetic love of summer camp.
